KTV is governed by a board of ten dedicated Derwent Valley residents who bring a wide range of complementary skills, local knowledge, networks and experience in working with families, communities and young people. The board provides strategic direction, manages and mitigates risk, and helps KTV achieve its goals.

Marg Cranney
A semi-retired group facilitator, high school teacher, trainer and somatic psychotherapist whose career has focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and training, particularly leadership, mentoring and cultural responsiveness. A dynamic community volunteer, Marg is President of the Tasmanian Online Lions Club and 2nd Vice District Governor of Lions Tasmania. She supports youth, community and family wellbeing and works to amplify marginalised or unheard voices while promoting understanding, equity and community connection.
Jessica Stennings
Jessica has loved to draw since she was young, and her love of art has taken her on many adventures. She shaped her project vision through Loreto Housing's 2022 Inspiring Future Leaders Program, which helped connect her with KTV. She hopes to support young people in finding the things they love to do. Jessica is a mother to a child who also loves to draw and create.
Zahidur Rahman FCCA, CPA
An accomplished accounting and finance professional with over eight years of international experience in financial management, auditing and strategic planning across Bangladesh, Malaysia and the UAE. A proven leader in navigating complex regulatory landscapes who delivers client-focused solutions that support growth and compliance.
Kirsten Kearney
A mother of two neurodivergent children and the founder of a local community group for neurodivergent and otherwise disabled children. Kirsten advocates for disabled children's rights, is a member of the local home-schooling community and enjoys volunteering to run activities for this growing group. She is proud to be involved in KTV's work.
Linn Purdon
Linn has worked as a corporate mediator and educator, a case manager for youth at risk and a family communications facilitator. She has homeschooled her twelve-year-old grandson from the age of four and currently organises the Derwent Valley Homies weekly meet up.
Megan Hills
Megan is a mum of four, two grown up and two attending a local primary school. She loves being part of our community and helping out in practical ways wherever she can. Being involved with KTV is a great way for her to give back and get to know local families.
Tom Aldous
A civil engineer and project manager based in the Derwent Valley, where he lives with his wife and two children. With a strong background in infrastructure development and community engagement, Tom brings practical skills and a down-to-earth approach to the KTV board.
